Milan have reached an agreement for the transfer of Diego Moreira from Strasbourg. The Belgian player can play on the right of attack, but also does well on the left line.
The operation foresees around 45 million euros in fixed payments and 5 million euros in bonuses, while Strasbourg will also retain 10% of a future sale.
Moreira is expected to travel to Milan on Tuesday, August 18, to undergo a medical. The 22-year-old Belgian had also been linked with Leipzig, but the Germans pulled out after being told of Strasbourg's financial demands.
Moreira started his career at Standard Liege and in 2020 moved to Benfica, where he won the Youth League in the 2021/22 season with 4 goals and 5 assists. In 2023 he signed for Chelsea as a free agent and was then loaned to Lyon, where he made 9 appearances.
In the summer of 2024, he was finally transferred to Strasbourg for 8.5 million euros and in two seasons he played 76 matches, scoring 7 goals.
