Divjaka protests for the eighth consecutive day

The protest of the residents of Divjaka has entered its eighth day today. The demand remains the same, Divjaka should be a separate municipality and not merge with Lushnje.

In addition to the residents of Divjaka, residents of the administrative units also participated in Friday's protest.

"I don't want Divjaka to lose her voice, protect Divjaka! She is our future!", said one girl.

"Wild municipality! The Prime Minister should not ask for any other decisions or consultations!" said a protester.

Organizers have begun collecting signatures for a petition addressed to all state institutions demanding the cancellation of the reform project.

"Let's document our protest with signatures. Whoever has the desire and will to sign, let's show that we are against the merger of the municipality," said a citizen.

Like every night, the protest ended with a march through the city streets.
