"Support the protests and gather within the week" - DP instructs

The Democratic Party has issued a directive for its local structures, aiming to support citizens who oppose the Socialist Party's proposal for a new territorial map.

The instruction was signed by the Organizing Secretary of the Democratic Party, Klevis Balliu, and the Secretary for Local Government, Ylli Asllani.

The document emphasizes that the objective is to support civic resistance to prevent the approval of the government project to reduce the number of municipalities.

According to the instruction, the Democratic Party continues to support its proposal for a new administrative division with 100 municipalities, considering it the right alternative.

The DP also demands that all its branches urgently meet within this week, together with municipal councilors, to coordinate positions with protesting citizens and to support the protests against the territorial reform proposed by the majority.
