Shortly before the start of the session in The Hague, the situation became tense outside the Specialist Chambers, where hundreds of Albanians have gathered awaiting the verdict for the four former KLA leaders.

Dutch police repeatedly asked protesters to leave the courthouse entrance and move to the park where authorities had allowed the protest to take place. Officers warned that if the order was not followed, they would use force to remove them.

The warning caused reactions from some of those present, who began to insult the Dutch police, leading to moments of tension and verbal clashes. After the third order from the police, the situation calmed down and the shouts at the officers stopped.

At that moment, Hysni Gucati, the former chairman of the Organization of War Veterans of the Kosovo Liberation Army (OVL-UÇK), addressed the protesters with an appeal for calm.

"We have no business with the Dutch police," he said, urging those present to avoid any clashes with the authorities.
