Sezayir Arslan, Turkish entrepreneur, said in an interview to Euronews Albania that he and other Turks feel insulted by the action of the 48-year-old man on the beach of Lalez Bay, who forcibly removed and threw the Turkish flag into the sea.

Arslan said that he never wanted to generalize all Albanians with the action of one man, according to him, not normal.

"I was extremely upset, because everyone is loyal to their flag, we don't leave it on the ground to throw it into the sea. But for an idiot, who is not normal in the brain, we cannot blame the state or all Albanians. Who knows what he went through that made that action. If a Turk was on that beach and was seen, we would not let the police arrest him. I could wait for the Greeks, the Italians, but not for the Turks. There is no reason why they conquered us 500 years ago, now we are brothers, we invest a lot. I say bravo to the state that arrested him, so that he knows his country" , said the Turkish entrepreneur.
