The testimony of Ilirjan Gavelli, the IMT employee who was injured in the line of duty, after 55-year-old Qani Muça shot him with a firearm after executing the order to demolish the apartment without the latter's permission, is revealed.

The event happened on Todi Shukurt street on August 12. In the investigation file of the prosecutor's office, obtained by News24, there is also the testimony of the injured employee who received a bullet in the abdomen. Gavelli told the officers how the event unfolded.

"I went to implement the decision to demolish the apartment of citizen Qani Muça and I started with the demolition of the apartment at 08:00 in the morning and we finished at around 18:30 with the demolition of this apartment. At the end of the demolition, I went to the lock of the apartment to take a photo of the demolished apartment, as this is our work procedure, and I noticed that the citizen Qani Muça was also standing there. At the moment I was taking photos, the citizen Qani Muça insulted me saying; 'to q…robt' and he reached into the back of his belt from behind and pulled out a pistol firearm and I instinctively jumped and grabbed it as I was two to three meters away from him. At the moment I grabbed his gun, he expressed and I am honored that the bullet hit me in the stomach. I continued to fight him, he also shot another time. He resisted, even though other policemen came. Qani Muca was drunk and smelled of alcohol. I met Qani Muça only once at IMT where we talked normally about his problem and where we understood each other and I never had any conflict or argument with him.", Gavelli expressed to the officers.

Muça is accused of two charges, "murder of public officials", attempted murder and "arms possession without a permit", while he is already behind bars.
