Cristiano Ronaldo has left his future in football open, admitting that he does not know when he will end his career, while stressing that he is ready to leave the Portuguese national team if the leaders no longer want to rely on him.

"I don't know when my career will end. I would like to answer, but I don't know. I have learned to live in the present and not think about tomorrow," Ronaldo declared.

The Portuguese star also spoke about his future with the national team, making it clear that the decision to continue does not depend solely on personal desire.

"If Portugal no longer wants to rely on me, I can leave today. I have no problem with that. The Portuguese people rely on me, that's why I'm continuing to play for the national team," Ronaldo added.

His statements come at a time when there is increasing talk about the end of the career of one of the greatest footballers in the history of world football.
