Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that tomorrow he will open an online dialogue window for all those who want to talk to him.
In a conference call with EU Ambassador Sofia Moreira de Sousa, he alleged that three groups of students had been obstructed and threatened, online and physically, in their attempts to meet with him. According to him, the students were bullied after their names were made public.
The head of government warned that legal, criminal and administrative measures will be taken against those who use threats and violence. He also said that there will be a reaction to those who block roads or use violence against the police.
"Tomorrow we will open another window of dialogue. A window of dialogue that is offered to those who want to interact with me on any issue they see as important. For students who are threatened by pseudo-students who appear at the doors of the auditoriums and who deliver violent messages to anyone who thinks differently or who dares to take the step of dialogue."
Three groups of students have been violently turned back online and offline by these kinds of pseudos, in their attempt to come to a meeting with me, without cameras, without photos, without a press release, simply to talk. Three groups of students with names and surnames. Deconspired, the devil knows how, and then bullied to the extreme.
I want one thing to be clear to everyone. I am no longer a student or a teacher, but I come from a path where I was a student and a teacher and together with the students I stood up against a real regime, for one reason only: to be free to say what I want, where I want. Whoever thinks that fear, intimidation, threats, violence will have the least impact on me and our journey, has made all the calculations wrong.
Otherwise, I will take the answer step by step, legally, criminally, and administratively. Even those who block the roads, even those who raise their hands against the police and meanwhile do not want to know about thousands of others who have their own freedom to do what they want, say what they want and go where they want", said Rama.
