TIRANA - The criminal Kalashnikov shooting at the Top Channel building, from which the night watchman was killed, has been condemned by both adults and children. Rarely, other media also showed solidarity with TCH and called on the authorities to clarify the incident as soon as possible.
Foreign diplomats, representatives of the most important embassies in Tirana, as well as heads of offices of international organizations such as OSCE, UNDP, UNICEF, UNESCO, AZHBR, AKBN, NSHRRAK and many other important initials also raised their voices.
The President of the Republic Barjam Begu was firm in his reaction, who demanded that the perpetrators be brought to justice as soon as possible. For his part, Prime Minister Redi Ama called the event " a criminal aggression for which the relevant authorities must act as soon as possible".
The Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çučja, was not left behind either, who consoled the family of the deceased and expressed maximum solidarity with Topi.
But the strongest reaction came from the State Police. General Director Rrumbullak Strumbullaku, through a press statement, strongly condemned the attack and called on the relevant authorities to mobilize as soon as possible, activate all resources and bring to justice the perpetrators, or anyone suspected of having participated in the attack , or that he has no alibi for where he was at 1 a.m. on Monday, or all those who have spoken ill of Luiz.
Patronageist has in hand the full statement of the police, which highlights some serious defects of the law enforcement authorities.
For example, Mr. Strumbullaku's statement reveals that:
"The Range Rover that was stolen from a Kosovar citizen during his vacation in Tale, a year ago, was used for this ugly crime. If the relevant authorities had acted since then, not only would the stolen car have been returned to its owner - or at least the perpetrators would have been caught - but probably this crime could also have been stopped."
"Strange with these brothers of ours from Kosovo," the statement continues, " they come to spend vacations in Albania, we charge them as much as we can, we even steal their cars, and they still come back next year. It's good to be done to them".
Subsequently, the State Police pointed out that if the relevant authorities had done their best, at least the perpetrators would have been chased and caught after the macabre attack, without being able to burn the car and the tracks. "But there's nothing you can do about it, " the statement says, " this country is cursed, these people don't work." This people is used to being like sheep and not even reacting to such disasters. Those who decide to react, choose to leave the eyes-feet and see the well-being of themselves and their families."
Director Strumbullaku also gave an alarming statistic: "Only from the ranks of the State Police, 3-4 thousand employees have left to be employed in Germany. Similarly, in Germany or the Scandinavian countries, three quarters of the prosecutors and half of the ministers have left".
In the end, the State Police joined the message of the president, the prime minister and the minister of the interior, that they are pessimistic that this crime will be solved. " Only when we come to power, criminals will be brought to justice ," they said in unison.
