Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Friday that he has undergone treatment for prostate cancer.

Netanyahu explained that the publication of his health report was delayed for about two months, in order to prevent the information from being used for propaganda by Iran.

This report reveals for the first time his cancer diagnosis.

In December 2024, he underwent surgery for prostate enlargement, which was made public at the time by the Prime Minister's Office. During post-operative check-ups, doctors discovered a malignant prostate tumor, measuring less than one centimeter.

According to doctors, the tumor was identified at an early stage and shows no signs of spreading. All other tests have confirmed that there are no metastases.

Netanyahu stated that the treatment was successful and the tumor had completely disappeared.

"Thank God, I'm fine. I had a small problem with my prostate, which was completely treated," he said.
