Pentagon suggests suspending Spain from NATO!
Pedro Sanchez

An internal Pentagon email raises concerns about measures against NATO allies deemed "tough" in the US-Iran conflict, including the possibility of suspending Spain from the alliance, Reuters reports.

Among the options being considered is the possibility of reconsidering the US position on Britain's claim to the Falkland Islands. The policy options are detailed in a note expressing disappointment at the reluctance or perceived refusal of some allies to grant the US access, basing and overflight rights for the war against Iran.

"We do not rely on emails. We rely on official documents and government positions, in this case the United States," Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez responded at the start of the informal EU summit in Cyprus.
