A gang of Albanian-Greek robbers has been dismantled by the authorities of the neighboring country. According to the investigation, it is suspected that the robbers stole cars, disassembled them in service stations and then sold them for parts, thus losing track of the vehicles within a few hours.

Part of the gang identified so far are a Greek, the owner of a car service in Athens, as well as an Albanian named "Miço".

The Greek has been arrested, while "Miço" has escaped and it is not known where he is. "Work" was going well for their group until August 18, when a woman from Athens realized that she no longer had her car in the place where she had parked it.

The woman had installed a GPS in her gray "Hyundai" car, and immediately after realizing that it was not there, she began to track the GPS signal. The owner of the car found that the car was several tens of kilometers further and began to follow the signal until she found herself in front of a car service.

She tells the police and went to the service station where she found a man who was dismantling her car. When asked who owns this car, the woman says that she received the answer: "An Albanian named Miço brought it here to fix it".

The woman immediately notified the police after this finding, who, upon arriving at the scene, interrogated the owner of the service, while also finding other car parts. The Greek, the owner of the service, has stated that he has not done anything illegal, but the police suspect that he has dismantled many other cars, which were stolen by the Albanian "Miço" with his "magic keys".

Police suspect the group used a now-familiar car theft technique such as a universal key, which intercepts the signal given by the original key and gives the owner the false idea that he has locked the car. After that, the thieves get into the car, turn it on and drive away.

The plan worked beautifully for their benefit, but it didn't seem to occur to them that someone could install GPS.

The Greek police suspect at least one more stolen car, a "Mercedes CLK", parts of which were found in the car service of the arrested Greek.
