The testimony of the perpetrator who killed two brothers the day before and left another injured has been revealed.

 In his testimony, Ngushëlim Manzi said:

"The Islamic Brothers were carrying out construction work and the concrete mixer was coming in front of our house. We asked them to take an alternative route because they had to make many maneuvers. They turned their backs on us. Shefqet Ismaili had pushed and hit my parents. When I found out about this, I got angry and hit him. Then his two brothers, Selam Islamaj, 30 years old, and Nazmi Islamaj, 48 years old, came. The fight escalated and I shot them with a pistol."

The serious incident took place on 'Petrela' Street, near the Zall Herri military unit. The conflict began verbally between the suspected perpetrator and three brothers who had begun work on building the perimeter wall of their apartment. 

Neighbors say that the situation became tense when the concrete mixer arrived near the yard, while 40-year-old Manzi was objecting to the pouring of concrete.

The argument between the neighbors quickly escalated, causing Officer Manzi to fire his service weapon, firing a volley of shots at the three brothers. 

One of them, 30-year-old Selam Islamaj, died on the spot from gunshot wounds, according to police. The injured older brother, 48-year-old Nazmi Islamaj, was rushed to the hospital but died on the way due to hemorrhage.

With a bullet in the chest, the other brother, 44-year-old Shefqet Islamaj, is in critical condition and is being treated at the Trauma Hospital.
