Former Albanian national team coach Silvinjo may soon return to the bench, this time leading another European team.

According to recent reports, the Brazilian coach has begun talks with the Bulgarian Football Federation to take charge of the country's national team.

Since leaving Albania, Silvinjo has not yet found a new team, despite having held negotiations with several clubs. In a recent interview, he announced that he wants to continue his career in Europe, which he considers to be the highest level of world football.

It is precisely this preference that is thought to have influenced his decision not to accept the opportunity to manage Corinthians in Brazil, leaving the way open for a new project on the European continent.

Bulgaria is looking for a solution for its bench, in a period when the national team's results have not been up to expectations. According to published information, Silvinho is one of the names being considered to take over the team and start a new phase in the effort to improve results.

However, the Brazilian is not the only candidate. The list of names mentioned for the position also includes Robert Prosinecki and Eduard Jordanescu, which indicates that the Bulgarian federation is considering several alternatives before making a final decision.

At the moment, there is no official agreement yet confirmed. If negotiations progress, Silvinjo could return to international football, following his experience at the helm of Albania, with which he secured participation in the 2024 European Championship.
