Prime Minister Edi Rama has published a long text, which he explains was not written by him, but that it is one of those articles that he wishes he had written himself.
Rama accompanies the post with an ironic comment, urging followers to read it, while the text raises strong accusations.
The text harshly criticizes what is described as a "scum industry", built on the distortion of facts, panic, anger, and the use of manipulated headlines or videos to incite reactions and generate clicks.
Rama's post
I DIDN'T WRITE THE LINES BELOW, BUT IT'S ONE OF THOSE CASES WHEN A PERSON SAYS: AH, IF I HAD WRITTEN THEM MYSELF...
Read them and you will find many faces, voices, and deceptions and hypocrisies from everyday life in front of technological mirrors.

Public space has turned into a sewage system and the stench is not under our feet, but rising from the pulpits, from the headlines, and from the mouths of people who know they are spewing garbage, in the name of "courage."
This is a scum industry, built on distortion, humiliation, panic and rage, where empty people have learned that if they can make citizens hate, no one will notice that they themselves have nothing useful to offer. They do not need solutions when they can produce enemies, nor do they need character when the crowd is eager for cruelty against the next human target.
This cannibalization works because many people have adapted and become comfortable living in its vortex. They know that the video clip was cut to deceive, that the title was fabricated as a weapon, that the accusation was inflated, that the anger was staged, and that the man being dragged through the mud is a human being reduced to a rag for clicks and reactions. They know that the facts are being distorted to make a piercing scream, and they know very well that a lie is a lie. But they like it, they simply enjoy the whole spectacle that lies produce.
A disagreement is no longer allowed to remain just a disagreement. Someone must be corrupt, incompetent, deceitful, caught, or part of some grand conspiracy. People take a piece of information, glue a conclusion to it that suits their beliefs, throw it into the vortex of the internet, and lo and behold, something that never happened is accepted as fact.
Public officials and employees are treated in ways that would be unacceptable almost anywhere else, as if simply choosing to serve the public means accepting unlimited abuse. That is what should disgust people. Not the disagreement, but the appetite to see someone mistreated and still spread the lie about them. The appetite to see a neighbor turned into an enemy because that satisfies you more than admitting that the world is a little more complicated than it seems. And worst of all, allowing a coward with a camera, a microphone, a title in his hand, or a platform in his possession, to put his hand in our bosom, appeal to our worst instincts, and convince us that they are principles.
Many people no longer have political convictions, they just have a toxic addiction. They need the next outrage, the next villain, the next video, and the next excuse to feel better than others, without being better people at all, and so they have surrendered their entire conscience to the noise!
Public service should never become a material for the slaughterhouse of faith, a stage for unfulfilled egos, or fuel for a machine that turns people into imaginary enemies in a few clicks. A mother fighting to keep her lights on doesn't need theatrical fury. A veteran waiting for the care he deserves doesn't need a doctored video. A teacher buying school supplies with his own money doesn't need manufactured panic. People struggling with the rising cost of living don't need the next coward selling them hatred as a leadership skill.
And please, spare me the preaching of anyone who swims all week in stinking sewers and then emerges reeking of personal ambition. Spare me the false righteousness of people who make citizens angrier, less sensitive and less honest, and more manipulable, while pretending to serve something greater than their own insatiable hunger for attention.
If their politics needs lies to breathe, it deserves to be drowned. If their movement needs to strip people of their humanity to survive, it belongs in the sewer. If their influence depends on poisoning people against each other, they are not leaders but just blind parts of this sewer system.
Ultimately, the question that remains is this: What are you willing to do to defeat the people who have told you you should hate?
If you're willing to become a liar, a coward, a manipulator, or someone who enjoys watching strangers be stripped of their human dignity, then you haven't defeated the rot you claim to be fighting. You've simply become part of it.
