Democratic MP Klevis Balliu, speaking from the US, considered "fools" those who still claim that Democratic leader Sali Berisha has not been removed from "non grata".
Balliu pointed out that if Berisha were "non grata" he would not be able to meet with congressmen and senators. Balliu also underlined that the opposition is reestablishing a new relationship with the American administration, which is essentially based on information and trust.
" The fact that Sali Berisha is in the US today proves what we have been trumpeting for a long time, which was lobbying with stolen money, stolen from Albanian citizens, to harm the opposition, or to capture the opposition through some political scarecrows, who sought to play the game of power at the expense of Albanian citizens. Today, that mountain of deceit has finally fallen. This visit does not serve Berisha as a politician, but it serves all of us ," Balliu said on the "Off the Record" show.
" I don't deal with every fool who appears on TV, I'm saying what the fact is. If you are non grata, you don't come to the US and meet congressmen and senators. We won't deal with every fool who appears on TV. This is concrete. There is no non grata, but we have a new relationship that essentially has information and trust ," he continued.
