A British mother tells of the terrible event she faced. She says she went temporarily blind after having surgery to put in DD-sized breast implants at the age of 19.
Danielle Sheehan, now 32, had the artificial assets introduced after winning a $6,000 beauty prize in 2010.
At the time, the teenager was working as a model and believed that a large bust would further her career. But soon after getting the implants, Sheehan says she started experiencing eczema flare-ups.
"After I had my son and for the past year, I had constant eczema, itchy skin and dry eyes. I ended up in [the] emergency room because I couldn't see. I felt like I was slowly dying and I just didn't feel good at all," she said.
After realizing her breast implants were to blame, Sheehan sold her car to finance surgery to remove the assets. After that, all her ailments disappeared instantly, she said.
"The moment I removed the implants I felt much better," she said.
