The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo has been constituted, while the process of electing the deputy speakers has ended without the election of the candidate proposed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo.
Emilia Rexhepi has been elected Deputy Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo from among the non-Serb communities.
From the ranks of the Serbian community, Tanja Vujovic was elected vice president, receiving 62 votes in favor, six against, and three abstentions.
Meanwhile, other candidates from the Serbian community failed to receive the necessary votes to be elected to the post of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
After the voting ended, the Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, declared that on this occasion the Assembly of Kosovo is considered constituted.
"On this occasion, I conclude that the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo is considered constituted," said Haxhiu.
Thus, the Assembly has been constituted, but the PDK remains without a representative in the position of deputy speaker.
