VUCIC'S LEAVING...

Aleksandar Vučić left power! He did not fall like a tyrant. He retired like an old figure, who had outlived his time! 
Aleksandar Vučić could not withstand the power of the new media world of social networks, fast and noisy.

History will remember him, not for his achievements but for his failures! Not for what he built but for what he destroyed!

Aleksandar Vučić had charm! He was unconventional and not afraid to experiment. But, he was reckless and self-destructive! 
The same qualities that had made him successful and his desire to be acceptable were the ones that got him into a crisis!

Aleksandar Vučić was unable to resist the lure of power!
For him, morality was a luxury that the political system in Serbia could not afford!

Aleksandar Vučić was a symbol of a system where political power and economic interests fed each other. The consequence was the dismantling of the administrative state!
He turned Serbia into a state where laws, administration and security structures were used to consolidate the interests of a ruling group of politics, business and organized crime!

During the period of Aleksandar Vučić's rule, control over institutions in Serbia was not an end in itself.
It served to secure wealth, protect allies, and weaken any mechanism that could hinder the continuity of power. 

The Vučić “doctrine” was a revolutionary departure from the traditional mafia in the way control was exercised. It shifted the understanding of corruption from an isolated violation of the law to an organized system where the state becomes an “assistant”!
In this logic, compromise with breaking the law was not treason, but necessity.

Aleksandar Vučić will be remembered not for any moral greatness, but for his invulnerability. 

Aleksandar Vučić lost the elections yesterday! As of yesterday, he no longer controls events! Now they are the ones who will control him!
