Greek media have published videos of the much-wanted Albanian, Elis Salaj, 35 years old from Fieri, who, although accused of murder, walks free in the Greek state. "Zougla" has published a video of him posing on social networks with a group of people.
According to this media, police sources have informed that it was precisely Salaj's pistol that turned out to be the one that shot at the 39-year-old Delvina Pëllumb Islami in the event of February 21, 2023 in Nea Ionia, Athens.
Despite this, Salaj, who turns out to be part of the criminal group called "Lions", continues to walk free. This criminal group has its headquarters in the famous "BellaVita" bar in Athens, from where they are accused of having planned and then committed serious crimes in Greece and are involved in illegal traffic. Outside this nightclub, a few days ago the Greek police arrested a 36-year-old Bulgarian with a TT pistol without a permit, who turned out to be closely related to the Albanians.
Earlier, 34-year-old Olsian Nurixhi alias Ernest Nurixhi and a 24-year-old Albanian known as "Dhimitri" or "Nektarios" were also detained for the murder of Pëllumb Islam.
Some time ago, the Greek media revealed information received by the Greek police that the members of "Lions" also had open conflicts with the two Greek brothers Strato and Jani Lala, arrested less than a year ago for the murder of the Greek investigative journalist Girogos Karaivaz and boxer Hari Kontogiorgi.
The group "Lions" and the bar "BellaVita" are suspected to have connections with a well-known character of the world of crime, imprisoned in Greece for cocaine trafficking from Latin America and with some other serious events in the neighboring country.
