Kiara Haskaj's extralegal adventure as director of the State Cadastre Agency for the northern region of Tirana has ended with a bitter end for her.
Voxnews.al confirms that the director was ceremonially dismissed a week ago. Officially, no more details are given on the motives and reasons for this decision, but unofficially the sources confirm that the cause was the tense situation that had been created for months in the offices of this agency.
The tensions first started with Haskaj's unfounded and suspected nepotistic moves at the head of this agency, and then the blocking of the usual annual leaves and even medical reports for employees, a flagrant violation of human rights.
Sources of Voxnews.al denounced that by taking this post, the new director has sown a situation of unnecessary tension, up to the point of schizophrenia... at least according to the denunciations received in the editorial office.
Kiara Haskaj, from a simple specialist at ASHK, was appointed director, after the departure of Mariglen Disha, who was elected mayor of Librazhd Municipality. Her appointment brought revolt among employees over the blocking of permits and human rights violations.
After the rapid rise in the power hierarchy of Kiara Haskaj, Voxnews.al sources suspect that there are efforts to legalize a multi-storey building erected in a cultural area in the central area of Tirana.
The legalization of this construction, according to the whistleblowers, could constitute one of the biggest scandals in the Albanian Cadastre.
