Barcelona are ready to make a huge investment to secure the services of Spanish midfielder Rodri , in an operation that could be among the most sensational this summer.

The Catalan club is expected to pay 60 million euros for the transfer of the 30-year-old, while the player will be offered a four-year contract with a salary of 30 million euros gross per season, making him one of the highest-paid players in the team.

Rodri has communicated to Real Madrid's management his desire to join Barcelona.
