Juventus risk losing Kenan Yildiz for a long period, after the injury suffered in his left leg in the championship debut match against Frosinone.

Yildiz underwent tests, while official confirmation on the extent of the injury is still awaited. If it is a fracture and surgery is required, the Turk could be out for around 8 to 10 weeks.

That would leave him out of 10 Serie A matches, including clashes with Parma, Milan, Sassuolo, Atalanta, Cagliari, Lazio, Lecce, Genoa, Napoli and Fiorentina.

The situation could also affect Juventus' Europa League roster, depending on recovery time.

The latest injury is in a different area from the left knee tendinopathy that had previously troubled Yildiz.

At the same time, the leaders continue to search for another striker, with Joshua Zirkzee and Alexander Sorloth among the names considered.

Luciano Spalletti also rates Nico Gonzalez, who could remain an option despite Atletico Madrid's interest.
