Mergim Mavraj, the former captain of the National Team, can play in Superiore this season. Partizani is trying to make the big move at the end of the market to wear the 36-year-old defender.

Mavraj is currently without a team and the capital club thinks that he can do work for Partizan with his long experience. He is considered an ideal replacement for Belica, who left a while ago.

The defender born in Germany counts about 50 matches with the Albanian national team. He has been one of the mainstays at the back in the historic achievement at Euro 2016.

The player himself has admitted that he is in talks with the Partizan club, so it remains to be seen how these talks will end.
