The national team coach, Sylvinho, is 'with a headache' when it comes to attacking for the Albanian national football team. After Armando Broja and Mirlind Daku, it is Rey Manaj who joins the red and black team's infirmary. The Albanian striker, who was absent yesterday in Sivasspor's victory against Hatayaspor in Turkey, is suffering from a muscle injury in the upper part of his left thigh.
"Rey Manaj has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the upper part of his left thigh, while Jonathan Okoronkwo has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in his right thigh. Our medical team is closely monitoring the rehabilitation of our players," Sivasspor said in a statement.
Next week, coach Sylvinho is expected to announce the list of 25 players invited for the match against Poland, which is valid for the 2026 World Cup play-offs and will be played on March 26 in Warsaw.
