The elimination in the semi-final of the Champions League by Real Madrid, does not seem to have affected at all the leaders of Manchester City, in terms of renewing the contract with Pep Guardiola.

According to British media reports, the club is ready to make new investments and propose to Guardiola the renewal of the contract, which expires at the end of next season.

While it seems that the Spaniard himself is now more focused than ever to give Manchester City the most important trophy for clubs and beyond the statements he had made some time ago, where he stressed that after the end of the contract he would withdraw from the leadership of the teams, to take over a representative, now it seems that he also wants the continuation with "Citizens".

Guardiola is reportedly ready to sign a new 3-year contract, which expires in 2025. He has six seasons at the helm of City, despite considerable time continues to have the full support of the club, which will guarantee the technician new reinforcements for the future, with Borussia Dortmund's first target remaining Haaland.
