Pep Guardiola

Superstition in the football world is very present in every sporting event and the Champions League is no exception. There are footballers or coaches who wear the same clothes as shirts, underwear or listen to the same music, in some cases it works and in others it does not.

It is now coach Pep Guardiola who must take some steps to end the "Champions League curse" that has followed him since he left Barcelona, the only club with which he has won a trophy of its kind. .

Pep has not been able to cope with Bayern and now stumbles every year with Manchester City.

But what is happening to Guardiola in the Champions League?

If we go back in time a bit, we will also find a statement from Yaya Toure's manager. As they claimed a racism on the part of Guardiola, as the main reason why the midfielder in question was left out of the team, would come the bold statement of Toure's manager:

"I am confident that many Africans with their shamanic beliefs will not allow Guardiola to win the Champions League in the future. It will be like the African curse for Guardiola. "Time will tell if I am right or not."

Shamanism is a religious practice believed in Asia and Africa, and so far time is giving Yaya Toure's manager the right to "bet" on Guardiola.

"He will never win the Champions League", the curse of African witches

This is a statement that is being widely spread on social networks lately, because when there is no exact explanation for how it fails for years, conspiracy theories come to life again. An African curse on Guardiola, could that be the reason?
