Carnevali: We have no intention of changing Spalletti, but the defeat to
Giovanni Carnevali

After four weeks of the championship, Juventus is already far from the top of the Serie A standings and the bench of coach Luciano Spalletti no longer looks so safe. At least judging by the comments of the fans, furious.

Juventus's acting administrator, Giovanni Carnevali, is however trying to calm the situation before a small spark turns into a fire.

"Spalletti is an extraordinary coach, one of the absolute best. Changing coaches is not in my spirit, we must try to plan and build, we must give it time and be patient, knowing that we will have to overcome bitter moments. In football there are cycles, there are periods when you are at the top and others when you are in difficulty. Our objective? Is to win, words are worth little or nothing ," he told Radio Rai.

On the defeat in Reggio Emilia:

"If we look at the result, it is definitely negative. We made some mistakes that Juventus cannot make, even though we created chances. It is part of the growth journey of the team and the club. We tried to win at all costs, thus losing our balance against a strong team like Sassuolo. As a positive thing I see the spirit to seek the result at all costs: I hope this defeat serves as a lesson, the fault is not only of the defense, but of all of us".

Given the sterility of the attackers, it is impossible not to talk about Vlahovic and his possible departure from Turin.

" Vlahovic? I never spoke to the guy, as soon as I arrived he was made a very important economic offer that was not accepted. I am not a person who runs after guys, Vlahovic was correct towards Juve, but after he did not accept it, everything ended there," he explained.

On Thursday, meanwhile, it will be the debut in the Europa League.

"For us, the Europa League is an important competition and we must seek the maximum result. There is still a lot to do to compete for the championship title and the Europa League, although it is not an easy competition, can be and become an opportunity for us ," Carnevali concluded.
