Alexander Soros, the son of philanthropist George Soros and one of the most important financiers and supporters of the Democratic Party in the US, has made an enthusiastic reaction to the victory won by the left in the midterm elections.

"The world changed yesterday. This wasn't just a midterm election or a 'blue wave.' It was something this country has never seen before."

"Overnight, America changed for generations to come. The greatest victory I have ever seen," writes Alexander Soros, son of tycoon and philanthropist George Soros.

In the November 2026 midterm elections, George and Alex Soros were among the largest funders of the Democratic wing, pouring over $103 million into helping Democratic candidates gain control of Congress.
