After the end of the 55th protest held this evening in Tirana , Prime Minister Edi Rama left the Prime Minister's Office building, where he had stayed during the rally.

The moment his motorcade left the Prime Minister's Office premises, the protesters who were still on the boulevard accompanied the departure with loud cheers and shouts, among which the slogan was heard: " O criminal, O thief ".

This Friday's protest marked the 55th day of civic mobilization in the capital, where participants reiterated their demands to the government and called for the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama. 

The departure of the head of government took place under increased security measures and accompanied by an official escort, while the situation in the area around the Prime Minister's Office remained under the monitoring of police forces.
