Russia has launched its occupation of Ukraine. this situation has led to large evacuations of citizens from conflict zones but also from large cities like Kiev. The war is also affecting Albanians living in Ukraine, one of them being Nelli Syupyur.

Nelli has started to leave her house. Through a video Nelli shows us her whole journey from the apartment to the border with Moldova. Nelli who is a choreographer in Ukraine lived on the outskirts of Odessa while already saying she wants to move to Romania.

I'm on the bus and nobody talks about the situation. But only me and my husband. They are afraid and do not talk about the war situation. In some places war broke out. They say do not go to Kiev or Odessa in the big cities. In Odessa, the streets are full of cars. "

We have packed our bags and are in Odessa near the station. We saw 3 or 4 tanks. It's the road that starts in the city of Odessa. The husband has his brother here with the family and we will wait for him to go to the border with Moldova and then to Romania. We are heading towards Europe. Let's look. I am about 100 km away from the border. " confesses the Albanian.
