Israelis belonging to the protest group "The Pink Front" - which supports the opposition bloc against Netanyahu - react to the results of voter polls after exiting polling stations.

There is no clear winner in the Israeli elections, according to exit polls published by television stations after the end of voting.

Neither Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition nor the main opposition bloc have secured a majority in parliament.

According to initial projections, the opposition bloc is expected to win 52-53 seats, while Netanyahu's camp is expected to win 50 seats. Meanwhile, Arab parties are expected to secure a total of 17-18 seats.

Opposition reaction

Gadi Eisenkot, head of the opposition Yashar party, said the early results show a "total lack of trust in Netanyahu and the October 7 government."

"If these are the final results, then this is a victory for the moderate Zionist majority in Israel ," he said in a statement to Channel 12 television.

Eisenkot added that he will act immediately to fulfill the will of the citizens, to replace Netanyahu's government and to form a Zionist government of national mobilization as soon as possible.

Even Yair Golan, the leader of the Democratic Party, declared that Israeli voters have "rejected" Netanyahu's government.

"We have been given a historic opportunity to form a government that brings real change to Israel, and we do not intend to let it slip away," Golan wrote on social media.

He added that his party is ready to cooperate with partners, overcome disagreements and take on the necessary responsibilities.
