A resident of the village of Homçan, in Pogradec, managed to meet Prime Minister Edi Rama, after a request he made publicly in the media.
The elderly man, Çelnik Shtupalli, 78 years old, said that he had waited for about five hours in the hope of meeting the prime minister and the mayor, to thank them for resolving some problems he had previously raised.
His request was quickly answered. After a seven-hour meeting with regional political leaders, Rama requested that a meeting be organized with him.
" I told the prime minister to build the road to the village of Homçan. The people have suffered greatly from the mud and the bad road."
That's why I told the Prime Minister that I measured the road to be four kilometers long. I was confident that he could meet me because I had visited him several times before and I finally presented this problem to him to make the road asphalt.
The Mayor told me we would do it, but I turned to Edi Rama. Many thanks to Edi Rama for telling Iliri to pave the road with asphalt.
"I hugged him and told him, 'The whole nation hugs you for all the great work you have done for Albania ,'" the old man said in a video.
