On the 84th day of the protest, activists have reiterated the demands that, according to them, unite them in this resistance that has lasted for 84 days.

The focus remains on the demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the creation of a 12-month, non-partisan transitional government.

One of the protesters said that after Rama's departure, a transitional government should be established to guarantee an unaffected electoral process and prevent, as they put it, the capture of the elections and state structures.

The list of demands also includes the repeal of the 2008 electoral changes, as well as Law 21/24 on protected areas. The protesters are also demanding the repeal of the law on strategic investors and the so-called “Mountain Package”.

In their message, the protesters called for personal beliefs not to become a source of division within the movement.

"Do not allow personal beliefs to become a source of division," is one of the repeated calls, while emphasizing that the goal that unites them remains the resignation of Rama and his government.

After 84 days of protests, organizers say that the demands remain unchanged and that the resistance will continue with the same objective: the removal of the Rama government and the overthrow, according to them, of a 36-year-old political system.

"Even today, I want to reiterate the demands that unite us in this resistance, a resistance that has not stopped for 84 consecutive days.

Following the resignation of Edi Rama, we demand the creation of a 12-month, non-partisan transitional government, which will prevent the capture of elections and state structures.

We also demand the repeal of the 2008 electoral changes, the repeal of Law 21/24 on protected areas, the law on strategic investors, and the "Mountain Package".

Do not allow personal beliefs to become a source of division, as this distracts us from the goal that unites us: the resignation of Rama and his government, and the overthrow of a 36-year-old system.

"For 84 days we have stood together and our goal remains the same," said one of the protesters.
