Revenge is the main clue to the murder of Ismet Čekorja in the Russian quarter in Shkodër. Around 15:00 on Friday, the 57-year-old left the apartment to go to the market where he bought some beers, but he could not return home alive. The perpetrators, who allegedly had access to security cameras in the area, approached in a motor scooter and shot at him, leaving him dead.

The investigation team focused on these security cameras to investigate the incident. Witnesses and people who may know about the event have been called to the police, but the investigative group still does not have a name for the executioner.

The police also called Alban Bruçi, who was assassinated on August 25, to testify, and the victim's son, Besnik Çekorja, along with Tornado Fushë, has been announced as the perpetrator. Bajram Čekorja has previous criminal records and was arrested in 2016 for attempted murder and in 2019 as part of a criminal group.

4 days before the murder, Ismet Čekorja issued a statement to the media where she defended her son, saying that she had nothing to do with the assassination of Alban Bruçi on August 25. According to him, the Cekorja family was being attacked by a group of thugs connected to powerful people./ TopChannel
