Four Albanian citizens have been arrested and appeared before the court in Great Britain, because they are accused of having built a "grass house" with a value of 1.6 million pounds.
They had challenged the system in Great Britain, as the houses where they grew the cannabis were a few meters from Carlisle Crown Court.
The arrested Albanians are: 29-year-old Nikolin Progni, 42-year-old Klaudio Lekndreaj, 28-year-old Klaurent Lena and the youngest defendant, 22-year-old Andrea Vukaj.
According to foreign media reports, they had completed the facility with professional lighting and irrigation systems. The facility previously operated as a nightclub. In addition, the Albanians stole an amount of 11 thousand pounds of energy every day.
The four young men who ran the 'farm' all appeared in court after pleading guilty to producing cannabis.
The "house of grass" was discovered on July 6 of this year, where 778 cannabis plants were found in various stages of growth.
"The police entered the building and found a number of rooms in the dark and several rooms set up for the active production of cannabis," said the prosecutor.
The defendants were equipped with living rooms, where there were beds, a table and wardrobe and a kitchen, where they were boiling pasta when the Police entered the building.
