Citizen Diego Haxhiraj alias Teki Haxhiraj alias Diego Hanaj is wanted, who allegedly shot at the vehicle in which two police officers were traveling (Angjelo Breshani and Nako Mehmetaj).

The wanted man is a well-known name to the police, since he was injured in January of this year.

On 05.01.2022, citizen Diego Haxhiraj was shot with a firearm, in the neighborhood "Pavarsia", where he was wounded in the hand.

Haxhiraj, 37 years old, a resident of Vlora, shot at least 5 times at the police, while the motive for this serious incident is still unknown.

The attack that took place in Vlora in the 'Pavarësia' neighborhood, on January 5, where 36-year-old Diego Haxhiraj was injured, still has no perpetrator, while the injured did not help the investigators in clarifying the incident.

In Diego Hanaj's testimony to the police officers, the 36-year-old stated that 'I didn't know anyone, and I have no conflict with anyone'. At the time he was assassinated, he had only returned from the Netherlands a few days ago.

The perpetrators' car was found burnt in the village of Trevllazë. The vehicle was burned in a dead-end alley, which helped the perpetrators to leave more easily and without being noticed, while two Kalashnikov combs were found inside it.

The 36-year-old Diego Hanaj was shot 5 times with a Kalashnikov, but only one bullet hit him in the hand. The 36-year-old was walking on the street below his building, but he saw people waiting for him and ran away.

After shooting at him, the perpetrators left in an 'Audi Q7' type car. It is suspected that the incident took place due to revenge motives, while the police continue the investigation into the activity of the injured.
