Sexual harassment in the toilet of the restaurant in Kombinat/ 65-year-old

Sexual harassment in Albania is one of the least reported crimes. But not for a 65-year-old American woman who asked her friends to call the police after someone had crossed the red line.

According to the police in the former Kombinati area, the one who abused and harassed her is a 29-year-old waiter from the Albanian capital, who every time he served her food, asked her if she was satisfied and if she had other needs. Until a moment when the old woman was in the toilet, he reached out his hands, touching her arms and chest.

The waiter was arrested for sexual harassment, although he insists that he "only showed kindness and care to the woman, but he did not even target her sexually"

The young man told the police, sources told the "S" newspaper, that the woman was old and not to his taste, and that she was a customer at the restaurant and he talked to her because of his job as a waiter.

The opposite is insisted by the 65-year-old woman, whose version the Kombinati police believed and issued an arrest warrant against the waiter. 

The woman with the initials C. B, 65 years old, had come to Albania as a guest of honor at a wedding ceremony. And in the said restaurant she was attending a wedding.

"I was in this bar as a wedding guest and I was at the table with my friends. During the ceremony I was served by citizen NN, with whom I was in frequent communication, since he spoke Spanish and I speak the same language. "

According to the 65-year-old, everything went exactly as it did at the wedding until the moment her son gave her some bitter news around 3:30 in the morning.

"The boy told me that a friend of mine had passed away. This was sad news and I got up from the table and at this point headed towards the stairs where the pub toilets were located. The waiter was standing there."

He asked in Spanish why she was sad?  

"He grabbed my arm, pulled me inside the women's restroom and started kissing me on the lips. He grabbed my shoulders and touched my chest. I pushed him and ran out of the bar" - says the 65-year-old woman, according to whom all this happened against her will.

But the waiter contradicts: "At one point I noticed that the aforementioned citizen was sad and was standing at the table crying. For this reason, I took some tissues in my hand and approached him and then accompanied him because he asked me to accompany him to the toilet. At no time did I sexually harass her."

The waiter, according to police sources number 6, says that the woman was too old for him and this is not to his taste. On the other hand, there are cameras of the luxury bar that show the waiter accompanying the 65-year-old woman to the toilet. But what happened inside these premises, there are no cameras and no witnesses, so the police have chosen to believe the woman./GazetaSi
