12 vacationers are rescued in Durrës and Velipoja: one boat was hit by
speedboats

12 vacationers risked drowning in two different areas of the country, but luckily they were rescued by the border police.

It is known that one of the boats (boat) collided with the stones at "Bishti i Palla" in Durrës, while the other one with 8 passengers broke down in Vilu in Velipoja. Currently, all passengers are in good health.

Police notification:

The Border Police Services and the Maritime Police Unit come to the aid of 12 citizens who risked drowning at sea while sailing with 2 speedboats. One of the boats (with 8 passengers, 3 of them minors) broke down in the middle of the sea, in Vilun, Velipoja, while the other boat (with 4 passengers) collided with the rocks and risked sinking in the place called "Bishti of Palla", Durrës.

- The services of the Shengjin Border Police and the Velipojë Border Police, after being notified by a citizen that the boat he was sailing with 7 other citizens had broken down on the beach of Viluni, and it was impossible to get to seashore, they went immediately to the given address, with a Border Police vessel.    

Within a few minutes, the services of the Border Police located the boat that had broken down in the middle of the sea and brought the 8 passengers of this boat to the shore, 3 of whom were minors.      

-Also, the services of the Durrës Border Police have received notification that another boat with 4 passengers had collided with some stones in the place called "Bishti i Palla" and was in danger of sinking after entering water. 

Immediately after the announcement, the services of the Border Police and the Maritime Police Unit, along with a Border Police vessel, went to the given address. The Police Services located the boat that was in danger of sinking into the sea and intervened immediately by taking the 4 passengers of the boat to the shore with the Border Police boat.  

All passengers of the 2 speedboats are in good health. They thanked the Police services for their readiness and assistance.

The Border Police Services invite any citizen/vacationer who is in need related to the functional tasks of the State Police to seek help, and the intervention of specialized services for each case will be immediate.
