A serious incident was prevented this Monday in Tirana. A 59-year-old man was handcuffed together with his son, because they both threatened their relative after a quarrel over property.

The police found a pistol firearm, a Kalashnikov firearm, a shotgun, three grenades, three grenade launchers, combs and combat ammunition of various types

Thanks to timely intervention and professional actions by the services of Police Station No. 4, the escalation of a conflict for ownership reasons between two brothers is prevented. A 59-year-old man and his son were put in handcuffs after threatening their relative (the 59-year-old's brother) for property reasons.

1 pistol firearm, 1 Kalashnikov firearm, 1 shotgun, 3 grenades, 3 grenade launchers, combs and combat ammunition of various types were seized. Services of Police Station No. 4, after receiving notification of a conflict for property reasons, between two brothers, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Gate", to prevent the escalation of the conflict.

During this operation, citizens GJ, 59 years old and GJ, 27 years old (father and son), both residents of Tirana, were caught and arrested in the act.

These two citizens clashed and threatened citizen FJ (the brother of the 59-year-old) for property reasons. During the search, the Police found and seized 1 pistol, 1 Kalashnikov, 1 shotgun, 3 grenades, 3 grenade launchers, combs and different types of combat ammunition.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
