Italian police officers patrol the coast

A huge influx of Italian tourists has made Albania's beaches fill up like never before.

But it's not just tourists who walk in albanian coastal towns this summer.

Some italian police officers are also in our country, where in cooperation with the Albanian police they work to guarantee a smoother summer season.

"The Maritime Police Unit continues its presence in all the beaches of the country, while in some of them are also present the italian police colleagues. "Nice holidays," wrote Interior Minister Taulant Balla.

For several years now, a small number of Italian police officers come to our country every summer, based on an agreement signed by the two countries.
