A 29-year-old Albanian man was handcuffed this Sunday in Vlora after he is wanted in Italy for murder and illegal production of weapons.

Hasim Musaraj (Murataj) 6 years ago, in collaboration with other people, killed the citizen Shpëtim Frashërit with a firearm.

Police notification:

Vlorë/Another operation for the capture of citizens with high social risk declared internationally wanted for crimes against the person is finalized.

The coded police operation "Red Fox" was carried out by the operational services and those of the Special Force "Shqiponja", of DVP Vlorë, in cooperation with Interpol Tirana.

The 29-year-old wanted by the Italian authorities for murder by firearm is located as a result of information intelligence, captured and put in handcuffs.

The operational services and those of the Special Force "Shqiponja", of DVP Vlora, as a result of information provided by police intelligence, on the location of a citizen with high social risk, wanted by Italy, have finalized the coded police operation "Red Fox".

As part of this operation, in the "Cold water" neighborhood, the police services found the vehicle that the citizen HM (M.) was driving. Police services intervened immediately and as a result of professional actions, citizen HM (M.), 29 years old, resident of Vlora, was neutralized and handcuffed.

From the verifications carried out between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, it turned out that this citizen was declared an international wanted, as the Court of Appeal of Turin has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Murder" and "Production and possession without permission of weapons, explosive weapons and combat ammunition", provided by the Italian Criminal Code.

The 29-year-old, in cooperation with other Albanian citizens, in October 2017, killed the citizen Sh. F.

Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, continues the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.
