Although the investigators have tried several times to get statements from Jeton Lamit as a person under investigation, he has not agreed to speak a word.

On the other hand, Tirana police officers have met the family members of Jeton Lam with the intention of offering them protection if they request such a thing.

The police sources said that the family members did not express concern if they were worried about something or if they were afraid of someone. The investigators have also conducted a check of the residence of the ex-effective but have not managed to find any illegal items.

Jeton Lami is currently being held in Shënkolli prison in Lezhë where, according to the court, he must stay until the end of the investigation.
