SPAK issues the arrest warrant for former deputy. the prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj .

After the removal of his immunity by the Assembly , the way was opened for his arrest by SPAK for the many charges that burden Ahmatej .

While he is being sought to be arrested, Ahmetaj is outside our country and it is suspected that he is currently in Britain according to his lawyers.

Deputy Arben Ahmetaj is accused by the Special Prosecution Against Organized Crime and Corruption, SPAK, of money laundering, non-declaration of assets and passive corruption related to the so-called incinerator affair.

The Assembly has approved a request of the Prosecutor's Office for the removal of immunity and the authorization of the arrest of Ahmetaj, but in the meantime he has left the country. Since escaping, Ahmetaj has denied the accusations and described them as 'persecution'.
