Friday, July 21, had a tragic balance for our country. Within one day, 11 citizens lost their lives.

Among them there was also a minor, as happened in the tragedy of the Banja lake where the father lost his life along with his two sons and grandson.

The first person who lost her life and was reported by the police was a 70-year-old woman in Durrës. She died after being electrocuted.

Again around lunchtime, the blue uniforms announced another tragedy. A painter fell from a height while working. As a result of the injuries, he died in the hospital. The event happened in Elbasan.

Around 20:00, the police reported two more victims. First, a 68-year-old man died in Porto Romano of Durrës. He was resting and his condition worsened as soon as he entered the water 

It wasn't long before another vacationer was reported dead. It is about a 52-year-old man who died as a result of cardiac arrest in Tale of Lezha.

In the afternoon, a serious accident was registered in Himare. 40-year-old Renato Bushi lost his life after the car he was driving went off the road 

Late dinner hours would follow with more victims. A 58-year-old man died after being hit by a car on the Elbasan-Peqin road. The victim was moving in a horse carriage at the time of the incident.

After this accident, the police would report the most serious incident. 4 people were pulled out dead from Banja lake in Gramsh. It is about Arben Zogu, about 46 years old, his two sons, Rubens Zogu, 19 years old and Esti Zogu, 14 years old, as well as their cousin Melis Zogu, 20 years old. They entered the lake to bathe, but could not get out. Two motorcycles, three mobile phones and the clothes belonging to the victims were found by the lake.

But tragedies would follow again. This time in Tirana. Just before the end of Friday, the blue uniforms announced an accident in the village of Fortuzaj. A 26-year-old named Brusild Gjyla lost his life after the Range Rover he was traveling in fell into the abyss.

His friend, Denis Çali, 33 years old, was injured and taken to the hospital. But this Saturday, the police announced that he also died after serious injuries from that accident.
