New details have been revealed from the assassination recorded this afternoon in Shkodër, where 57-year-old Ismet Çekorja was killed.

Sources close to the investigative group indicate that he was shot with a firearm in the middle of the street in the Kiras neighborhood and received 7 bullets in different parts of his body.

Čekorja was seriously injured and died on the way to Shkodra hospital.

From the first data, it is suspected that the executioner of the 57-year-old man was a single person, who left the area after the crime and lost his tracks.

The Blues of Shkodra have seized the security camera footage and interrogated witnesses in the area to obtain any valuable information on the identification of the perpetrator.

Ismet Çekorja is the father of Bajram Çekora, who is wanted for the failed assassination attempt on Alban Bruçaj, an event that happened in Shkodër on the evening of August 25, in collaboration with Tornado Fushë.

Four days ago, Ismet Čekorja, who was executed today, gave an interview to the media where he exonerated his son, while accusing them of being attacked by powerful thugs.

He also accused the police of surrounding his house every time there are criminal events in Shkodër.
