The police of Shkodra has issued an official announcement regarding the murder registered this Friday afternoon in the Kiras neighborhood. According to the authorities, 57-year-old Ismet Čekorja died in the hospital, unable to survive the bullet wounds.

The police announce that investigations and checks continue with the aim of identifying and catching the perpetrators. A few days ago, Ismet Çekorja gave an interview to the media to defend his son, Bajram Çekorja, who is wanted for the assassination of Alban Bruçi.

In the "Guerrile" neighborhood, in Shkodër, under still unclear circumstances, citizen I. Ç., 57 years old, resident of the "Guerrile" neighborhood, Shkodër, was injured with a firearm, who later died in the Shkodër Regional Hospital.


The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues the work at the scene, for the complete clarification of the circumstances, the legal documentation of this event, in order to identify and capture the author/s.

The Police Services continue the checks, with checkpoints in the surrounding area, with the aim of catching the author/s.
