A girl and her mother were found dead today in their apartment in the city of Korça.

According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the girl, 54-year-old Ornela Vangjeli, who worked as an educator in the village of Vithkuq, died first. The cause of death is believed to be a heart attack.

Then it is suspected that the 75-year-old mother Eleni Vangjeli, who was disabled and could not take care of herself, also died.

It was the victim's brother who called several times, but the sister did not answer. He left Greece and made the shocking discovery when he arrived in Korça.

The police said that the door was locked from the inside, while it is not known how much time has passed since the mother and daughter passed away, but it is thought to be about 5 days ago.
