Prime Minister Rama appears to have decided to take extreme measures, following the recent protests, which have shaken the Government.
Vox News sources indicate that Rama has asked ministers to demand the resignation of the directors of all institutions under their control.
According to these sources, Rama has asked ministers to gather this afternoon all the directors under their authority and demand their irrevocable resignation.
It is not known why this extreme ultimatum was taken, but Prime Minister Rama took such an action when he was mayor of Tirana.
Back in 2011, when he handed over the municipality to Lulzim Basha, Rama first requested the resignation of all the directors of the Municipality.
The institutions affected are starting from Customs, Taxes, QKB, AFSA, AMLF, Cadastre, AKU, ISUV, AKUK, institutions under the Ministry of Justice, institutions of the Ministry of Culture, institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture, institutions of the Ministry of Infrastructure, institutions of the Ministry of Health and so on, all Ministries that have subordinate institutions, etc.
In the coming days, this decision is expected to be publicly communicated by Prime Minister Rama, who is not known whether he took it to calm the anger of the protesters or to warn of early elections.
We recall that in several recent media appearances, Rama has harshly criticized the administration.
A week ago, Prime Minister Rama warned of measures against administration leaders who do not respect the deadlines for responding to citizens and resolving their problems.
"When you delay and miss the deadline, you must bear the cost, and we will do this with the Law of the Mirror, in which we will determine that every violation of the deadline must have responsibility and responsibility must bear the cost," declared Rama.
Rama then introduced the "Merit Scale" as another component of the administration's transformation process, alongside other initiatives, including BESA and the "Pasqyra" platform.
And now, from words, it seems to have moved on to deeds, demanding the dismissal of all the key leaders in the country's ministries.
