Bayern Munich are concerned about the health of coach Vincent Kompany.
According to reports from German media outlets "Bild" and "Sky", the Belgian technician has been transported to a hospital in Munich, after allegedly collapsing after the team's training session.
So far, the Bavarian club has not provided an official confirmation or further details about the situation.
According to information published by German media, an emergency doctor has been called to assist the coach, while a helicopter is reported to have landed earlier at Bayern's training facilities, on Säbener Straße.
The exact circumstances of the incident still remain unclear, while fans await an official announcement from the club on the 40-year-old's condition.
Concerns about the Belgian coach's health come after several days during which he had suffered from a viral infection.
For this reason, Kompany was absent from the final training session and the press conference before the Champions League match against Arsenal, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
However, despite health problems, the coach was back on the bench for the match held at the Allianz Arena.
After the challenge, Kompany also spoke about his physical condition, admitting that he had had a difficult week due to the virus.
"As a coach, you always want to do everything. Last week I had a pretty bad virus and, of course, I didn't listen to my body. At some point, my body said to me: 'Now stop!'" he said.
At the moment, information about Kompany being transported to the hospital is based on German media reports, while there is still no official announcement from Bayern Munich to clarify his health condition.
